Matilija Canyon Wildlife Refuge Protects native wildlife at risk by providing a safe, natural refuge where animals can live and thrive in their natural habitat. We support care, rehabilitation, research, and protection for species that cannot survive without conservation efforts.
Through education, outreach, and advocacy, we raise awareness and promote responsible stewardship to preserve wildlife and ecosystems for future generations.
Our Mission:
Our team is dedicated to the compassionate protection of native wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation when necessary, and the preservation of natural habitats for species that cannot safely return to the wild. We prioritize responsible land and ecosystem management to support both wildlife and the surrounding environment.
